Husband and Wife Lung Slices

Above: a dish named Husband and Wife Lung Slices available in some restaurants in Hong Kong.

Chinese dishes often have very fancy names. For example often times chicken are called pheonix - chicken feet are typically called pheonix claws on the menu. But then sometimes the name is so descriptive that it is difficult to really know what the dish is.

This dish pictured above is a good example. Named "Husband and Wife Lung Slices", it promises to stop any guest in his track, be he hungry or not. What is it really? We are not sure. One thing we know, it is spicy. Maybe they had a fight - the cooks, I mean. (Left: a close-up shot of one of the pieces)
