HK$300 I think, cash only, deposit required. The décor is a sign
of things to come - Chinese wood window frames as room dividers and brushed concrete floors. Were in the land of fusion cuisine and to be honest, Im not too impressed. There were some dishes of note. The fresh scallop sushi was sweet, the chawanmushi (Japanese egg custard) smooth, the soup was good but what was that salad that ended the meal about? Lollo rosso salad leaves with diced kiwi and shards of hawthorn candy? Its an attempt to do east-west fusion and I must admit, it is inventive, but I remain doubtful about the success of this experiment. Theres another problem with this space. With its low ceilings, the noise when the place is packed and guests loud can be unbearable.
