Quuen's Pier
Central District
Another historical landmark goes to the landfill. The Queen's Pier in Central District outside the City Hall will be demolished soon, despite the fact that - according to the locals - this was where the British colonialist governors would set foot on Hong Kong Island as a ceremonial act. In addition to being a public pier for passengers to get on and off boats, the Queen's Pier is also a popular place for those who enjoy fishing.
