Lunch and dinner (ave HK$30-50 per head)

It’s at the back of a Thai provision store and once you venture in, you might well wonder if this is Thailand or Hong Kong. This is where the Thai workers in Hong Kong come when they want a taste of home and what a taste it is. The roasted pork neck salad is liberally sprinkled with uplifting mint paired with the salty twang of fish sauce, the somthum or papaya salad is as good as it gets and the pad see yeow is a heavenly concoction of flat rice noodles, kailan (kale) and thinly sliced pork or chicken slices that have been fried with dark soya sauce at high heat in a well-seasoned wok. For the Singaporeans and Malaysians out there, the pad see yeow is the closest you will get to fried kway teow in Hong Kong.
