This is the local art critic turned food critic, Lau Kin Wais Cantonese private kitchen. Its located above his Cantonese restaurant Kins Kitchen (reviewed in the restaurant section). Ill keep this short.
The food is good and to justify the price, certain expensive ingredients - sharks fin, abalone - make an appearance but to be really honest, I much prefer eating downstairs with its more homecooked fare. I think ultimately Cantonese cuisine for me needs a bit of roughness. The private kitchen array of food was a touch too refined for me and I was pining for the hearty touches of the food downstairs instead.
