With a history of thousands
of years, Chinese herbalist doctors still practice and are getting more recognition,
including the government, and insurance companies. There is now a registration
process through which a herbalist doctor can be officially recognized as such. If
you are interested in finding a herbalist doctor, it is not that easy a task if
you want to find a good one even though many herbal medicine shops each have one
to offer his service. A safer bet would be to go to the Hong Kong University Chinese
Medicine Clinic where they train herbalist doctors. They have one located in Admiraty
on Hong Kong Island, and one in Jordan, Kowloon. |
