Sai Kung Peninsula, usually just called Sai Kung by the locals, is an unurbanized area in Hong Kong where you can still find walking trails through lots of greenery and beaches with clear water. In fact its Hoi Ha Wan is known for its corals and diving.
Sai Kung town used to be a fishing village and is still a place where people buy fresh catches from fishing boats. With is small town feel and nice environment, Sai Kung is one of the popular areas that expatriates choose to live in. But the price to pay is convenience since the
MTR subway does not reach there and a mini-bus or big-bus-ride from Choi Hung MTR station takes a good half an hour.
