Aberdeen

Above: Aberdeen with Ap Lei Chau island on the left.

Although Aberdeen used to be a small fishing village, nowadays it's a small little city, as you can tell from all the high rises in the photo above and below. In fact Ap Lei Chau, the little island across from it, is the most densely populated island in the world! But there are still traces of its fishy past. There is still the typhoon shelter, and you can still get a ride in small boats to other parts of Hong Kong, and there are ferries going to islands like Lamma. And then there is the famous floating restaurant.
