Beachfront Hotels

Even though there are plenty of beaches in Hong Kong, there're not that many beachfront hotels per se. There're three that we know of, two of which located on "outlying islands" which are accessible mainly by ferry from the Central Ferry Piers, and one in the northwest part of New Territories.

Silvermine Beach Hotel - located at Silvermine Bay (beach) of Lantau Island, it is a nice getaway from the crowds of the city.
Warwick Hotel - located on Cheung Chau (island), it has a nice and relaxed atmosphere.
Hong Kong Gold Coast Hotel - a 5-star hotel located in the northwest part of Hong Kong, it is probably the newest of the beachfront hotels in Hong Kong. (shown to the left)

If you're looking for a hotel at the world famous Repulse Bay, sorry, you're too late - by a few years. The Repulse Bay Hotel is now serviced apartments. But you can enjoy high tea at the restaurant there at the shopping center. (2008.11.10)
