Coffee shop at Victoria Peak
Of
course taking a few shots of the beautiful view is a must, but there is more to do than that! In fact
there are things that even many of the locals don't know about. After all they only go up there
when they have to entertain an overseas guest once in a while.
A
fuller schedule can include the following:
- Ride a rickshaw - of course the ride is not far, but a picture with the rickshaw puller posted on Facebook
is worth the fare.
- Walk along the footpath once around (it takes about an hour)
- Go up the steep path to the real Victoria Peak, either on foot or by taxi.
- Go have a picture taken with Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan, Beckham and many of your favorite celebrities in the wax museum
- Have dinner in one of the restaurants
(those with a view) at a window table
- Shopping - after all, you are in Hong Kong! There are a couple of shopping centers at Victoria Peak.
Stores include souvenir and gift shops, a photo gallery with a large collection, G.O.D. which offers items of
unique local design, a convenience store, a supermarket, etc. (2013.11)
