It may be called Ocean Park, but it's become a multi-faceted theme park. In addition to dolphin shows, aquariums with all kinds of fish, sharks, jelly fish, and other sea creatures, there are roller coasters, bumper cars, river raft, and many other rides. Since some rides are built near the hillside, the experience of being up in the air is more thrilling.
And then since it spans over two sides of a hill, there're gondolas for transporting you from one side to the other. That itself is fun because you get to see the park from the air and also see the islands and scenery around. There's also a train in the submarine theme that can take you through the hill. They did a nice job in the decorations both in the station and inside the train cars. The short film clip shown on the train ceiling is entertaining itself, keeping your kids from getting bored - even though it's just a short 5 or 10-minute ride.
But one downside are the long lines. If you go on a popular day like on the weekends, you may be lining up for an hour for each of the popular rides. And there's no 'fastpass' like at Disneyland. You might also want to get your tickets on-line first or from travel agents to reduce the waiting time and maybe at a discounted price.
